Is this server on a dialup line?  It is S-L-O-W.

My best guess is that it's a cpu loading issue on the server not a network bandwidth issue.  Everything on this site gets run through a database and the pages are created and served dynamically.  It could be that there is a lot going on with the machine, or a lot of contention for database/disk access is my guess?  Dan, I've got an old P-III laying around in my basement I could donate if you want to upgrade the server at some point.

I think a big part of the problem is due to all the bots that have been repeatedly hitting our site causing the load to go up.  I am collecting information on them and started blocking the repeat offenders.
