Got the mowing done today: Parking, pits, pilot area, and field.  Should be good for Saturday.  The sign will probably be installed on the posts on Friday.

I see that Bob, it looks great.

I sprayed the weeds on the taxi ways and runway last night.
I will go back tonight and cut them off at ground level.

Thanks for getting the weed thickets removed from the taxiways.  The little wheeled buggers won't get stuck now!

Bob, great job on mowing, now if we can get rid of the bugs, we couldn`t have it any better!!

Can we pick a bigger font for this web site?  I just got my glasses prescription updated, and now every time I see this thread at the top of the list it looks like "Field Has Been Moved" and I have a brief panic attack.  Or maybe we could change the topic title to "Grass has been cut"?

The field was mowed this morning (Friday).  Curt was there so he knows that I didn't move the field.  Also, I picked up the frame and the sign from the Lexington entrance as the sign was in the grass.  The welding rods holding the sign to the frame both snapped off probably because of the high winds a while back.  Perhaps Paul can fix up this sign when I can get it to him.

The field is in great shape for septemberfest tomorrow, thanks Bob!  The grass has been so nice this year I've totally stopped trying to aim for the runway.
