I got to the field yesterday between the raindrops and sprayed the bees/nest.  There were quite a few of them!  Bee careful of the ground immediately around the south grey assembly table there are lots of DEAD bees laying there!

Thanks a lot for taking care of the bee problem for the rest of us!  It would have taken forever for our spinning props or blades to have clobbered all of them.

Former national CL Precision Aerobatics champion Ted Fancher put up a qualifying flying for (I believe) the WC Team Trials and was part way though his pattern when he suddenly flamed out.  Brought his ship back down safely only to find an abdomen of a bee lodged in the venturi of his engine.

They deduced his carbon prop had decaptitated the insect in flight with a remnant finding the intake.  Needless to say, the other competitors got a pretty good chuckle from that incident.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!, LIVE Bees, still flying around, same place, our bee exterminator did NOT get all the bees, so  BBBBBBBBBBB careful!

No way!  I soaked that thing with an entire can of spray! I got down on a knee and sprayed it up in there!  Must be new ones!

I think the instructions on the critterkiller indicate that it be done after dark, when all the hives' inhabitants have returned to it.  Perhaps doing it in the daylight left some early risers to escape the direct application of the spray.  The good news is that it is getting dark earlier.  The bad news is that it is getting dark earlier.  And after the snow starts flying, we won't care about the bees anyway.
